The RRFBs are Back on Track in the U.S.A.!

On March 20, 2018, the FHWA issued a new interim approval memorandum for the use of RRFBs as an optional safety device once again. Click here for a PDF of Memo IA-21.
What this means is that if your state or local agency had previously obtained approval for RRFB use, which was then rescinded, they must now get new permission letters under IA-21 from the FHWA. This applies to only those entities that require FHWA permissions for installations of RRFBs. Download a sample FHWA RRFB Request For Appoval Permission Letter.
In addition to offering the RRFBs, we will continue to supply a variety of effective flashing beacon configurations to fit all of your safety needs.
